Carbon emissions related to the

within PaperlinX’s CarbonBalanced Paper
range are calculated so that an equivalent
amount of carbon is either prevented
from being released in the first place or
mitigated in the atmosphere. Balancing is
facilitated by theWorld LandTrust.
To date, PaperlinXhas balanced95,600
tonnes of CO2 – the equivalent of taking 24,500 cars off the road for a
year – and protectedmore than2,840 acres of endangered rainforest,
an area equal to990 football pitches.

2014 interim results
Ina statement to theASX (AustralianSecurities Exchange)
internationalmerchant groupPaperlinXhas reporteda statutory
loss after taxofAU$28.4million for the sixmonths to31
December 2013.
Compared to a loss ofAU$58.6million for the prior corresponding
period (pcp), this represents a 52% improvement.Themerchant group
has also announced a 36% improvement to its underlying EBIT loss
(AU$9.6million, compared to a loss ofAU$15.1million for the pcp).
