came a requirement for an efficient
storage solution, andfiling and storage
specialist Railex Projectswas selected to
recommend a fit for purpose solution.
The highly practical Rollastore
mobile system fromRailex Projects
nowhouses all records relating to the
Trust’s properties.The Rollastore design
consists of 42 back-sheeted bays laid
on a tracked removable plinth630cm
in length.The 214cmhigh storage units
are openedor closed by turning lockable
wheels.
Railex polypropylene lateral pockets
provide durable support for theTrust’s
documents and pull-out shelves are
included at regular intervals to assist
staff at the point of reference.

of bothour current and archive records
as you can imagine is a very sensitive
issue,” she said.
“Previouslywe simply had a series
of old cabinets and shelving dotted

and space delineation in the new ITVoffices
atMediaCity,Manchester. It supplied and
installed itsUniteSE storage collection, a
versatile range of cabinets, drawers, lockers and
sliding doors, combinedwith various personal
storage solutions.
The range includes personal storage below
the desk,where personal and keyless storage
must dovetail seamlesslywithmore traditional
documentmanagement.
UniteSE desk end towers and different
colouredopen top boxes on topof cupboard
and drawer units provided the perfect solution
for ITV’s requirementswhilst aidingwayfinding.
KI’s team also created print and recycle centres
with tailored storage solutions for the 35,000
sq ft of office space.
Taking storage toanew level
With the launchof the Bruynzeel OfficeUnit,
Bruynzeel has taken the relationship between
steel storage andoffice design to a new
level. Presentedwith theArchitektur+Office
Innovation award by architect journalsAIT and
Xia IntelligenteArchitektur, thismultifunctional
unit integrates all kinds of storage space –
lockers,wardrobes, cabinets, book shelves –
plus key services, such as a kitchenette, coffee
machine, counter and video display.
Like othermobile storage systems, the
Bruynzeel OfficeUnit has just one access aisle,
which allows it to provide 50%more storage
space. Units are custom-made and can be
specified in a range of sizes, colours andfinishes,
including glass, steel,wood and acoustic panels.
