Expansion in theNorth East
Just twoyears after opening its branch inWashington,Tyneand
Wear, Premier PaperGroup ismoving tobigger premises andhas
takenon twonew staffmembers tohandle the increasedorder
volumes.Thenew salesofficeandwarehouse, some9,000 sq feet
in size, is sitedwithin the town’sNEPBusiness Park.
Since opening in January 2012, the branch,which services
customers across theNorth East of England, Cumbria, Dumfries and
Galloway, has enjoyed continued growth.
The new larger premiseswill enable Premier toholdup to900
pallets of paper locally, supporting its commitment tooffer a same-
day delivery service on its locally stocked lines. Customers have access
to a further 20,000 tonnes of paperswhich are held throughout the
Premier branchnetwork and available for next-day delivery.
Coincidingwith themove, Premier is increasing its local delivery
fleet to six vehicles supported by a national fleet of around a hundred
trucks.

a reliable supply, transparent pricing, straightforwardordering, regular
special offers andmarketing support.
Recordfinancial performance
PapermanufacturerMondi delivered a recordfinancial performance
in2013. Underlying operating profit of

699millionwas up22%on
2012. Excluding the effects of acquisitionsmade in the previous year,
underlying operating profitwas still up11%, driven by particularly
strong performances from Packaging Paper and the SouthAfrica
Division.
