The Philips PicoPix PPX 4010 from
Sagemcom is one of the smallest
models on the market, yet it still
offers the same high quality and
intense brightness as bigger devices.
This mini projector was introduced
at IFA 2015, which took place in Berlin,
Germany in September. Despite being
around the same size as a computer mouse
and weighing only 83g, the PPX 4010 has
a brightness of 100 lumens and can display
a PowerPoint presentation, HD video, slide
shows and multimedia content on a screen
size of up to 120 inches (305cm), making
it ideal for impromptu presentations when
a meeting room is not available.
Thanks to its SmartEngine LED
technology, colours are more vivid than
ever, with a very high contrast rate. Its
LED light source has a long life, lasting
approximately 30,000 hours, so users
won't have to worry about purchasing and
changing expensive lamps. A control on
top of the device allows users manually to
adjust the focus of the projector.
Connectivity is quick and easy via the
supplied mini HDMI to full HDMI cable. This
allows the PPX 4010 to connect to any
notebook, netbook, tablet or other mobile
device. The projector can be powered at
the same time via USB from your laptop,
a powerbank or USB plug, removing the
need for additional batteries, chargers or
power cables.
Mark Ivens, Marketing Manager, said:
“It’s a tiny, lightweight unit which means
it’s easy to carry anywhere and everywhere,
yet it’s powerful enough to deliver effective
presentations whenever you might need
it. Perfect for sales presentations, training
materials, corporate videos, product
demonstrations, new designs or sharing
any other digital content.
“Quite often you can be expected to do
a presentation but the projector is missing,
broken or simply incompatible with your
PC connections. You don’t need to rely on
other people’s equipment when you have
your very own compact, ultra-portable
projector – and for less than £249.99.”
The PPX 4010 is one of 7 models
