LONDON STATIONERY SHOW
Diverse and eclectic line-up
ExaClair was showcasing many of its key
brands, including ones that don’t normally
get much exposure.
Speaking before the event marketing manager
KevinWharton said: “Our stand is designed to not
only showcase the latest styles and innovations
in ExaClair’s brands, but also to demonstrate the
value-added product ranges that fit well within
stationery stores, but sometimes sit outside
traditional stationer portfolios.
“Decopatch, the paper crafting brand, is
the sort of product range that visitors might
not expect to see at the Show. Using compact
merchandising, we will show that with limited
initial investment stationers can diversify
their product portfolio with exciting products
that lend themselves to both impulse and
destination buys.”
A major focus of the stand was the Rhodia
range of notepads, diaries, luggage and desktop
accessories, including both traditional head-
stapled orange and black premium quality pads
and white, silver and multicoloured boutique
ranges.
Other highlights for business buyers, mobile
workers and and young professionals were the
Exactive range of multi-purpose, robust and
lightweight filing products
and durable, brightly-
coloured Iderama folders,
binders and pocket wallets.
There was also much
to interest general consumers, including G Lalo
correspondence sets and notepads; J Herbin
inks, including Stormy Grey and emerald green
shades from the 1670 range; and stylish gift
wrap papers, tissues, boxes and accessories
from Clairefontaine, notably the new Flower
collection, which melds contemporary
design and traditional themes through the
combination of abstract and geometric floral
patterns and understated, muted pink, green
and brown tones.
One of the highlights of National Stationery
Week, The London Stationery Show 2016
took place on 26-27 April at the Business
Design Centre, London.
Since its launch in 2011, the number of
stands at the stationery and office products
show has doubled and the floor space tripled.
This year, more than 300 brands and suppliers
took part.
Speaking in the run-up to the show,
exhibition director Chris Leonard-Morgan said:
“The exhibition has grown in size every year for
the last five years. There are more than 60 new
exhibitors to date at this year’s show, visitor
registrations are up on this time last year and
there are lots of exciting things happening out
there. Stationery is hot, and writing is cool!”
Here, we present a selection of some of many
notebooks, journals, pens, paper, tapes, envelopes
and filing and storage products on display.
This time with Passione
Pen manufacturer Montegrappa was showcasing its new Passione collection,
which includes fountain pens, a rollerball, ballpoint and mechanical pencil.
The range is made from celluloid and comes in four colours – orange, red, blue
and a zebra stripe. Design features include a curved pocket clip, two matching
enamel lines and a 1912 high-relief logo.
Each writing instrument in the Passione family
is trimmed in 925 sterling silver. Fountain pens
have filigree-pattern 18kt gold nibs and feeders
made from ebonite, a natural hard rubber traditionally
used in the pen-making industry for the excellence of its
writing performance.
Hot stuff:

sixth year in a row, showcased an array of
products old and new, including the Helix

test the pens by adding to a giant colouring

of National StationeryWeek.
Gray Richmond, managing director of Maped
Helix, said: “It’s an exciting time for Maped Helix.
We have a wide range of innovative products
and we will continue to launch products that will

Luxury and style
Taking poll position on the Sheaffer

Scuderia Ferrari Collection; new Spring
finishes for the VFM Collection; the
competitively priced Award Collection;
and two stunning new lacquer finishes in
the iconic Prelude range.
Sheaffer trade marketing director Nicola
Shepherd said: “Each year we look forward
to sharing our new collections with the best
