POS printer with Apple
connectivity
Star Micronics describes its new
TSP143IIIU printer as the only receipt
printer capable of communicating
directly with an iPad or iPhone while
simultaneously charging. As well as
working with a traditional POS terminal,
the printer can connect directly to an
iPad or iPhone using the Apple-supplied
lightning cable. A direct wired connection
eliminates common Bluetooth/WiFi/wired
LAN set-up issues around pairing, network
infrastructure and connectivity.

New Logitech Flow software enables users
to control up to three computers with
one mouse and copy and paste content
and images from a notebook to a PC, say,
or from a Mac to a Windows device. The
software is compatible with Logitech’s
latest models including the Logitech MX
Master 2S, Logitech MX Anywhere 2S,
Logitech M585 Multi-Device and Logitech
M590 Multi-Device Silent. Logitech Flow
is available as a free download as part of

Apple has updated its iMac line with brighter

core Xeon processors, up to 22 Teraflops of GPU
Performance, up to 4TB of SSD, up to 128GB
of ECC memory, four Thunderbolt 3 ports and
10Gb Ethernet.

and S8+. Slimline Mujjo cases are crafted

BIXOLON Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of
mobile, label and POS printers, has
unveiled a new generation of 4-inch mobile
printers. The SPP-R410 is 22% smaller and
25% lighter than its predecessor, making
it one of the smallest and lightest 4-inch
mobile printers on the market. It has a
printing speed of 90mm/sec and supports
liner-less label printing. A ruggedised
design protects the printers from drops of
up to six feet and provides IP54-rated dust
