Premium packaging
British master papermaker James Cropper
showcased its new Tailor Made service,
which allow brands to work with James
Cropper to develop unique, custom-made
paper solutions for brand presentation
and packaging. The extensive variables
available through the service range
from the fibres used to make a paper to
the ways in which they are engineered,
coloured, embossed and converted.
James Cropper was also highlighting
the Dolcelicious range of food contact-
approved papers, available in 11
colours, and Kendal Manilla, a range of
high-quality boards for the filing and
stationery markets.
Professional stamp
Trodat launched its new Professional
4.0 stamp

. Combining a brushed
stainless steel finish and high quality
plastic, the Professional 4.0 provides
maximum stability and durability, while
being lightweight for effortless stamping.
Special grip zones on the feet make it
easier to compress the stamp when
setting the date, while a new date band
drive guarantees precise date setting and
alignment.
Fast and secure shredding
Elcoman presented its new KOBRA AF
auto-feed shredder series. The range
includes the model KOBRA AF.1, with a
300 sheet paper tray, shredding speed
of 37 sheets per minute, 135 litre waste
cabinet and an optional Electronic
Combination Lock to protect confidential
information.
All KOBRA AF Auto Feed models are
equipped with the latest Energy Smart
power saving technology and continuous
duty motors for quiet, non-stop
shredding without overheating.
Next year’s Paperworld will take place
on January 27-30, 2018.
Paperworld 2017
New face of AF
AF International, a manufacturer of
specialist cleaning products for the
office products industry, revealed its new
packaging and new products, following a
brand re-vamp.
The Core Range of cleaning products,
easily identifiable in traditional AF blue
and silver, now feature a new logo and
‘Advanced Technology Cleaning’ strapline.
New additions include Smart Wipes, a
strong, washable and reusable wipe for
cleaning all forms of tech in the office,
at home or on the move; and a new Hot
Desk Kit

of tailored cleaning solutions
in a drawstring bag.
AF International also launched two
capsule product ranges,Whiteboard
Cleaning and the Specialist Cleaning
Range targeted at niche technical
cleaning sectors, such as ATM/Chip and
PIN maintenance and PPE Equipment
Cleaning.
Versatile finishing
IDEAL showed its new folding machines,
the IDEAL 8306 (entry-level model),
8335 and 8345 (high-end model). The
machines offer a choice of different folds
and formats to prepare letters, circulars,
flyers, invoices and statements for easy
insertion into envelopes.
The IDEAL OfficeLine range has
been extended with the introduction
of the IDEAL 8590 booklet maker

featuring a compact design and easy
operation for the quick production of up
to 800 professionally finished booklets
per hour. The new model folds and/or
staples documents automatically in a
few seconds, handling paper formats up
to A3 plus.
Opportunity knocks
Asia Pulp & Paper Group (APP) was
drawn to the Paperworld trade show
by opportunities within the European
stationery market. The company chose
to show two of its leading photocopy
paper lines, Hybrite and Paperline

,
APP’s premium wood-free colour
paper range. Also on display were APP’s
premium notebook range, Inspira, and
the Enlivo office and school stationery
line, which includes bound notebooks,
legal pads, envelopes, index cards and
multi-purpose paper.
Adhesive all-rounders
tesa was showing a number of new
products, including the Glue Stamp
ecoLogo

, which offers a clean, precise
and permanent method of gluing. In
consumer testing, tesa Glue Stamp was
found to fix paper to paper on average
37% faster than glue rollers and sticks.
Most people involved (85%) agreed that
it was faster. It also uses less adhesive
than glue rollers and glue sticks.
Follow the trend
Pukka Pads showcased its latest ranges
of notebooks, including Electra
4
, Blush,
Edge and Fusion. The pads are stylish
and modern, inspired by the bright
colours of sports wear and the copper/
rose gold trend. The collections come
in A4 and A5 Jotter and Project Book
variants and have many useful features,
such as margins and perforated and hole
punched pages for easy filing.
Shred with style
HSM has added IntelligentDrive
operation to three SECURIO document
shredders

(the P36, P40 and P44).
This provides three operating modes –
silent, standard and performance – is
30% quieter and provides up to 40%
higher throughput than previous models.
A high resolution 4.3in touch display
provides easy operation.
In addition, HSM has updated the
eight shredders in its HSM shredstar line
with a new design and functionality,
including a separate CD cutting unit and
waste container for shredded CDs, DVDs
and credit/store cards; and added a new
model to its Pure document shredder
line. The HSM Pure 730 features
