Agilitas and CORETX partner
to enhance service
Cloud and managed services provider
CORETX has formed a strategic partnership
with IT services company Agilitas. The
latter’s inventory-as-a-service product,
Inventory Assure, will enable CORETX to
provide engineering support contracts
to customers with a four-hour IT parts
delivery SLA. By outsourcing the provision
of IT spares to Agilitas, CORETX will
gain significant improvement on parts
availability, shorter delivery times and cost
savings.
Kodak Alaris partners with UK Software
Kodak Alaris Information Management has partnered with independent software developer
UK Software. The collaboration combines Kodak Alaris scanners and software solutions
with UK Software’s TranSearch Windows and web-based records management system,
providing clients in healthcare and the public sector with a custom-designed information
management solution.

Yorkshire businesses to
benefit from ultrafast
connectivity
Alternative infrastructure provider
CityFibre has partnered with Wakefield-
based NGC Networks to deliver ultrafast
full-fibre connectivity to local businesses.
Commenting on the new partnership,
Jason Petrou-Brown, Senior Business

Purpose Software expands support capability
Purpose Software, a supplier of business
management software to the managed
service and print reseller industry, has
appointed SAP specialist Sophia Moore
as a Software Implementation Consultant.
In this role, she will be responsible for
project managing installations of FORZA,
the company’s recently announced ERP
(Enterprise Resource Planning) solution,
which is based on SAP Business One
and includes all sales, service and
accounting functionality on a single
integrated platform.
Moore has more than 11 years’
experience of ERP systems and is a
fully accredited SAP Business One 9.2
Application Associate, the highest level of
certification. She joins Purpose Software
direct from SAP Business One Gold Partner
Milner Browne, where she worked as an
Implementation Consultant, responsible for
managing installations across a range of
industry sectors.
Dixons Carphone creates one-stop shop for tech support
Dixons Carphone is building a national network of tech support specialists in
more than a thousand Currys PC World and Carphone Warehouse stores across
the UK.
Bringing together the Geek Squad and Knowhow brands, Team Knowhow
comprises more than 7,000 trained experts, all ready to deliver, install, support,
upgrade and repair everything from white goods to mobiles and laptops.
The network will enable customers to access 24/7 tech support, irrespective of
where they bought their goods.

Technology research and advisory firm
Information Services Group (ISG) has been
named ‘Best Practice and Implementation
Partner’ in the Europe, Middle East and
Africa (EMEA) by Blue Prism, a global
Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
software provider. The award, presented
during a ceremony at the Blue Prism
World Conference in London, recognises
ISG’s expertise and experience in
