Contact centre solution
Exertis has added Enghouse Interactive’s
multi-channel contact centre and
customer interaction solutions to its
unified communications (UC) portfolio.
These include the Enghouse Interactive
Communications Centre (EICC) and
Communications Centre Enterprise (CCE)
solutions; the Quality Management Suite
(QMS); and Real Time Speech Analytics
(RTSA).
The platform-independent solutions
are typically sold into contact centres with
10-250 agents, though they can be scaled
up to thousands of users. They can be
deployed in the cloud, on-premise or in a
hybrid environment.
John Bird, Exertis, Head of UC
Systems and Support Services, said:
“Our partnership with Enghouse is a great
opportunity to deepen our engagement
with our resellers that offer ShoreTel and
NEC unified communications solutions,
creating additional profitability for their
business. It also provides our Microsoft
resellers with the ideal platform to
enhance Skype for Business into a fully
featured enterprise call management
solution.”
He added: “We will be offering our full
service wrap to the Enghouse solution –
24x7x365 helpdesk support, pre sales
configuration support, proof of concept
services, demonstration assistance,
financial services (leasing) and much more.”
Enghouse Interactive was classified as
a Challenger in the 2016 Gartner Magic
Quadrant for Contact Centre Infrastructure.
The Exertis professional services
division, which provides resellers with a
range of pre- and post-sale services from
straightforward ‘break-fix’ through to a
24/7/365 white-label managed service,
has gained ISO 20071 accreditation, the
international standard for information
security.
Ian Gilbey, Exertis technical services
director, said: “IS0 27001 certification
provides our partners and resellers with
even greater confidence in the way they
engage with our range of professional
services and sends an important message
that Exertis manages security risks
effectively and in the correct manner.
Besides being a key differentiator for our
services, our customers know that we
have the policies and procedures in place
to protect their information from security
threats.”
Gemalto turns to Exclusive
Networks
Exclusive Networks, the value-added
distributor for cybersecurity, networking
and infrastructure technologies, has
been named sole distributor of Gemalto
SafeNet authentication, encryption and
key management products in the UK and
Nordics.
The distributor says that the big
increase in data breaches and the
implementation of General Data Protection
Regulation (GDPR) rules within the next
18 months have created a $1.8 billion
opportunity for security vendors.
As part of the agreement, Exclusive
Networks will provide advanced technical
training and sales and marketing support.

Learn more about EMM
Tech Data has launched an enterprise mobility management
(EMM) micro-site as the first element of its Trusted Advisor
knowledge development programme, set up to improve resellers’
understanding of key solutions areas. Tech Data plans to launch
micro-sites for other technology areas over the coming months.
Phil King, Solutions Practice Director at Azlan, said: “The EMM
pages contain a wealth of informative and inspiring content that will
enable resellers to build and develop the knowledge and capabilities
of their sales and technical teams in this important and complex area.”
The EMM hub includes advice on identifying EMM opportunities
and building a strategy for mobile device, application and content
management (MDM, MAM and MCM); a Trusted Advisor Readiness
Assessment, which resellers can use to assess a customer’s current
EMM status and identify how it can be improved; and extensive
information on solutions and programmes offered by BlackBerry, Citrix, Microsoft and
VMware.
