Exertis has announced a raft of new
distribution agreements covering
established and fast growing market
segments, including conferencing
and unified communications, the
smart home, smart lighting, gaming
and network security. These include
agreements with:
ClearOne
, a provider of conferencing,
collaboration and network streaming &
signage solutions for voice and visual
communications, notably Spontania, a
cloud video and web conferencing solution
that can connect hundreds of users in a
single meeting across multiple devices
including mobiles, PCs, telephones
and room devices. It can be deployed
on-premise or as a cloud service and
enables customers to deploy cloud-based
media collaboration without the need for
expensive infrastructure;
Netatmo
, a developer of connected
consumer electronics for the smart home,
including the Personal Weather Station;
the Smart Thermostat; Welcome, an indoor
security camera with face recognition; and
Presence, an outdoor security camera that
detects people, cars and animals;
Nanoleaf
, another manufacturer of
products for the smart home, notably its
colour changing Aurora LED light panels and
IVY Smart voice-activated lighting ranges;
Yale
, the lock and home security products
brand, which has introduced the Smart
Living range of smart door locks, smart
alarms, and smart CCTV systems. These
products can be deployed as standalone
solutions or as part of a Yale smart home
security system incorporating a
smart home alarm, home view
camera and smart CCTV with
built-in night vision infrared
LEDs. They are compatible
with other smart home
systems and some can even be controlled
by the Alexa voice assistant;
Portnox
, a market leader for network
access control and management
solutions designed to ensure security and
compliance for businesses of all sizes and
all vertical markets. The range includes on-
premises (Portnox CORE) and cloud-based
solutions (Portnox CLEAR) suitable for all
Network Access Control needs, budgets
and deployment preferences;
HyperX
, the high performance product
division of Kingston Technology, for its
range of PC Gaming Peripherals, including
Cloud headsets, the Alloy FPS gaming
keyboard and the Pulsefire FPS gaming
mouse; and
Dell EMC
. In combination with Hammer,
which Exertis acquired towards the end
of last year, it has been awarded the
distribution contract for Dell EMC’s full
portfolio of converged infrastructure, servers,
storage and data protection technologies.

Amanda Jarman, Ellen Gardener and

users on the night including Little Mix,
Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Robbie Williams
and Katy Perry.

Databarracks is sponsoring Lia Ditton’s
attempt to be the third person, and the
first woman, successfully to row the
North Pacific Ocean. Departing in early
2018, sailor and writer Lia Ditton will
attempt to row approximately 5,500
nautical miles alone from Japan to
San Francisco. The voyage, which is
co-sponsored by YO! Company, could
take anything from four to six months to
complete.
