KYOCERA HyPAS MFPs do a lot more
than just print, copy, fax and scan.
They also act as a bridge between the
paper and digital worlds, enabling
businesses to streamline document
workflows, boost productivity and
drive down costs.
To help customers maximise the
potential of their multifunction print
devices, KYOCERA HyPAS MFPs come
with an embedded solutions platform
known as HyPAS (Hybrid Platform for
Advanced Solutions).
Based on Java and web services, this
powerful platform enables customers
to run embedded print solutions, such
as the Papercut, Safecom and Equitrac
print management solutions, as well
as individual apps offering additional
features or a quick and easy way to
access MFP functionality that might be
buried deep in a driver.
Solutions and apps are displayed
as icons on a KYOCERA MFP’s large
touchscreen display and can be opened
with a tap of the finger.

Language Select:
change the language of
the user interface at the press of a button;
QuickPrint:
access and print documents
stored on a central server via the MFD panel
so that you no longer have to pre-print
commonly used forms;
Mail2Me:
simplify workflows by scanning
straight to your own email inbox;
PinPoint Scan:
do the same by scanning
straight to your PC;
SmartScan & SmartFax:
route scans to
other locations, such as email addresses,
folders and fax machines.
ScanNow Plus:
scan routing including to
FTP sites, plus sophisticated administrator
controls, such as the ability to apply scanner
settings to multiple devices across an
enterprise and different access rights to
different individuals.
IT integration
SharePoint Connector:
two-way integration
with Microsoft SharePoint Server, simplifying
scanning to and printing from the document

Mobile Print:

delay printing until users
authenticate themselves at a device to
maintain the security of printed documents
and eliminate duplicate or unnecessary
printing.
Cost control
Colour Control:
restrict colour printing and
copying to certain employees, groups or
departments by applying access rights and
requiring users to enter a passcode on a login
screen.
Efficiency & automation
Teaching Assistant:
speed up the creation
and marking of multiple choice tests in
