With hexagonal solid wood pieces and 3D printed magnetic accessories in a variety of colours, HEX can be customised to create a tidy and stylish workspace. https://batch.works/ Metallic makeover Maped Helix showcased its new metallic products. The traditional Oxford maths set has had a makeover and is now available in two metallic finishes, silver and rose gold. Stored in an embossed metal tin, the set includes an eraser, ruler, protractor and compass and comes with a matching Oxford ballpoint pen. Also in the Oxford Metallics range is the Oxford Premium Writing Set, with a fountain pen, rollerball pen and ballpoint pen stored in a stylish metallic tin www.mapedhelix.co.uk Pretty pastels Zebra Pen had plenty of new pens for visitors to try on its stand. The Sarasa Clip gel ink pen is a twist on the original Sarasa gel pen, with a new sprung binder clip. Its ink is smooth, waterproof and available in a wide range of colours, including a modish ‘Milky’ range of pastel shades. Embracing the metallic trend, was the new Z-Grip Rose Gold, a ballpoint pen with smooth black ink and a shiny rose gold exterior. Another stand-out product was the Kirarich highlighter, which has glitter running through the liquid ink and is available in pink, yellow, green, blue and violet. www.zebrapen.co.uk Ergonomic grip Faber-Castell has expanded its Grip range of writing products with two fountain pens, the Grip 2010 Trend and Grip 2011 Classic. The Grip range is characterised by an ergonomic grip zone with raised dots. The Grip 2010 Trend is available in pink, turquoise and blue, with contrasting raised grip dots, a glossy surface and stainless steel clip. The Grip 2011 Classic comes in silver, black and midnight blue, with a smart matte appearance and black grip dots. www.faber-castell.co.uk Military chic Montegrappa showcased a number of its latest luxury pens including the Blazer, inspired by the Blue Blazer cocktail. The steel pen, available as fountain pen, rollerball and ballpoint, has been torched with fire to give it a unique, iridescent pattern. Each pen comes with a Blazer tankard, traditionally used to prepare the drink. Also on show was the Camouflage Collection, a pen with an earth-tone camouflage pattern and brushed bronze-plated trim. Every Camouflage pen is supplied in a tin field box, resembling a medic’s first aid kit, which also includes dog tags and a special key-ring bearing a ‘military’ target. www.montegrappa.com/en/ Imperfect beauty Castelli was showing its new Eden and Wabi Sabi collections. The Eden Collection includes notebooks and diaries in three floral designs – verde, giallo and viola. These are also featured on the page edges. The Wabi Sabi Collection is named after the Japanese philosophy of finding beauty in imperfection and inspired by ‘kintsugi’, the practice of repairing broken pottery with gold. The three designs, stone grey, baked clay and terracotta, are enlivened by gold cracks and gold page edges. www.castelliitaly.com Smart and practical Collins Debden showcased its refreshed line-up of diaries and notebooks featuring stylish designs and practical features ideal for professionals. One of our favourites was the Saville Row diary, which has a smart Harris Tweed cover, leather panels and slots for credit cards. Another was the highly practical Framework notebook, featuring a cover- mounted clear, ziplock pouch for storing receipts, business cards or a favourite photo. www.collinsdebden.com Green notebooks Dingbats*is an eco-friendly notebook brand that uses biodegradable, FSC- certified paper and vegan, recyclable covers.
