Blake continues expansion
Blake is opening a third ‘Hub of Excellence’ in
Manchester, following previous launches in
Edinburgh and Leeds.
The envelope and postal packaging specialist
is establishing a network of Hubs in strategic
locations throughout the UK to increase
its presence in areas where demand for its
products is highest and to provide customers
with specialist advice.
Carbonless paper
Antalis has brought reacto, Europe’s leading
carbonless paper range, to the UK market,
having formed a new supply agreement with
the German manufacturer, Koehler Paper
Group. Carbonless paper saves time and
money by providing a duplicate of an original
document. Available in standard grades, as
well as an exclusive 75gsm sheet, reacto is
high white and provides the best combination
of runnability and copy quality thanks to its
improved bulk.
Sheaffer launches
compact pen
Pen manufacturer Sheaffer has launched the
Sheaffer Ion, a pocket-sized rollerball ideal for
taking notes on the go.
The Ion clips to lanyards, keys and bags,
making it easy to find when it’s needed.
Features include a retractable mechanism and
a refillable gel barrel that can be used with
four ink colours.
The 104-year-old Sheaffer brand is
currently undergoing a refresh, releasing a
selection of new products whilst increasing its
work with up and coming artists and creatives
around the globe. For example, the packaging
of every Ion pen features artwork by Bristolian
artist Ery Burns.
Get planning
The Trigg Life Mapper is a page-a-day diary that
fuses the principles of planning, productivity,
habit, mindfulness and gratitude to help you
reach your targets. It features an Annual Forecast
section to outline key targets; a Personal

CROSS presents Marvel collection
A.T. Cross Company has created a new Super Hero collection in
collaboration with Marvel. The second iteration of the Marvel
collection, Marvel Super Heroes, introduces new characters on
two of the company’s most popular styles, the Click and Cross
X Series. Each pen embodies design characteristics from three
of the biggest Marvel Super Heroes: Spider-Man, Thor and The
Incredible Hulk.
Android tablets
Venturer has brought a new range of RCA Android tablets to the UK market.
The Mercury 7L Quad Core tablet operates on Android 6.0 and has a seven
inch capacitive touch screen, Quad Core 1.3Ghz processor with 1GB RAM,
8GB internal memory and built inWifi capability. The Saturn 10 Pro also
runs on Android 6.0 using a 1.3Ghz processor with 1GB RAM and features
built inWifi and speaker. Its internal memory is larger at 32GB and the
screen is 10.1in.
Distinctive pens
The Montblanc Heritage Rouge & Noir Collection
has been expanded with two new designs,
both featuring a coiled serpent pen clip. The
Montblanc Heritage Rouge & Noir Tropic Brown
Special Edition is available as a Fountain Pen,
a Roller Ball and a Ballpoint Pen.The Solitaire
Serpent Limited Edition 1906 is available as
both a Fountain Pen and
a Rollerball.
Rodin’s 100th anniversary
A Special Edition journal from Paperblanks
honours the 100th anniversary of Auguste
Rodin’s death. Rodin was one of the most
controversial artists of the 19th century. He
abandoned the traditional realms of mythology
and allegory to celebrate individual character
in his sculptures. The cover design features a
letter he wrote to Rainer Maria Rilke, as well as
a reproduction of his most famous work, The
Thinker.

International Paper, a global leader in fibre-based packaging, pulp and
paper, is collaborating with the Komen European Network (partner of
Susan G Komen organisation) and launching a specially created HP
Office ‘Pink Ream’ in support of programmes to help save lives from
breast cancer in Europe. The HP Office ‘Pink Ream’ product, which has
been sold exclusively through Office Depot since June will be available
from Office Outlet, Spicers, Staples and Rymans from mid-September
and throughout October, the international month of breast cancer
awareness. International Paper is contributing 10p to the Komen
European Network for every HP Office ‘Pink Ream’ sold in Europe this year, with a
guaranteed minimum donation of
100,000.
