The organisation has renewed the following warrants for 2020. Brown Fox for its range of fine stationery, Collins Debden for its leather and wool bound diaries, Manuscript Pen Company for its ML 1856 fountain pen, Gopak for its Ultralight Staging and Victor Stationery for its Rhino notebooks. www.stationers.org Celebrating the power of the pencil VENT for Change is celebrating the power of the pencil in a philanthropic partnership with National StationeryWeek. The sustainable brand will be giving away UK-made recycled pencils to every company that signs up as a participating retailer in April’s event, which this year will raise funds for children’s education projects. Each business that takes part in the campaign will be provided with a selection of pencils in five stylish colours. For a small donation, customers can choose their favourite recycled pencil with all funds raised being donated to education projects run by Plan International UK, a charity that strives to advance childrens’ rights and equality for girls all over the world. www.nationalstationeryweek.com Colourful pens made from concrete Staedtler’s Concrete Ballpoint pen is now available in two new colours, brick red and charcoal black. The pen’s individually designed concrete shaft is cast by hand at the company’s Nuremberg site, with the new colour variants created by adding special colour pigments. The other elements of the ballpoint pen – the tip, push button and clip – are made from high quality matt chrome metal. Due to its form, the Concrete Ballpoint is also comfortable to use; the barrel has six asymmetrically arranged edges, creating a hexagon, which provides users with an optimal grip. www.staedtler.com Sales success for Ryman The Theo Paphitis Retail Group has reported good performance for Ryman for the financial year to 30 March 2019, with total revenue increasing by 1.4% to £129.9m, delivering an increase in EBITDA of 6.5% to £8.2m (FY18: £7.7m).
