Our fourth and (officially) final round of the 2024 season took place at Redditch Golf Club on October 3 and we enjoyed it so much we slotted in another, unscheduled meeting less than two weeks later on October 17. Following requests for a round in the south of England, we held our final final round at Silvermere Golf Club in Cobham, Surrey. Despite the lack of notice, 20 people managed to join us for this bonus day of golf. The weather had been so bad in the days before both meetings that there was a real risk of waterlogged fairways – ominously, Silvermere had closed the course on the Monday before our round. In the event, the sun shone down on both days and only one hole, at Redditch, was unplayable. Many thanks to everyone who joined us for our final rounds and congratulations to the winners on both days.
