We have seen time and again that moving to Kaseya helps MSPs be more profitable and more productive – it’s a real springboard for growth. TR: What are your personal highlights of the last 12 months? GJ: Receiving a number of awards and recognitions, voted for by the channel, has meant a lot to me. They are validation that I am making a positive impact on the industry. I am also proud of the growth of our partners across EMEA. It’s great to see our customers flourish despite the challenging economic times. TR: What should IT leaders be looking to do differently in the next 12 months? GJ: My advice to them is to challenge the status quo in all areas of technology. Drive innovation and change business processes to deliver a deeper and more meaningful return on investment to all stakeholders both within their business and within their customers’. TR: What is the biggest IT challenge you have faced this year ? GJ: Integrating all systems across the combined Kaseya and Datto business into one solution has been a success, but it was also a challenge due to the sheer size and complexity of the task. We had to overcome a few hurdles on the way, but the ultimate goal was always clear: to be able to deliver the best service to our customers. TR: To what extent has your business been affected by economic factors this year? GJ: The market affects everyone in some shape or form; no business operates in isolation. However, the past has shown that MSPs are well placed to ride out tough times. As always, we are focusing on how we can best help our partners support their own customers and drive their business forward. TR: How do you expect AI to impact MSPs’ daily operations? GJ: In one word: massively. In first-line response, artificial intelligence (AI) could perform up to 80% of the most laborious tasks and duties, freeing up resources and supporting service delivery. But human-to-human relationships will remain paramount. MSPs will need a multifaceted approach with a combination of self-service, human interactions and various communications channels. AI will change the future of service delivery, but we are not there yet. TR: What key IT trends do you expect to see in the next 12 months? GJ: Businesses will start to embrace AI and machine learning. Organisations will find ways to integrate platforms such as ChatGPT and Google Bard into their processes to deliver business outcomes. And, there will continue to be more of an enterprise mentality amongst small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), for example by adopting technology to achieve clear business goals. TR: How are you adapting your business to meet changing needs? GJ: We are always driven by demand from the market. We listen to our partners and their SMB customers to learn what is happening in their world and what Technology Reseller (TR): What’s new in the world of Kaseya? Greg Jones (GJ): We’ve recently launched IT Complete 2.0, our most powerful IT platform yet, with new integrations and expanded product suites. New features include automated network penetration testing and automated sales presentations. The platform is scalable and fully customisable. For MSPs, it provides a secure, 360-degree approach to delivering a world-class service to their clients. TR: What are your business highlights of the last year? GJ: Putting our best foot forward to the market and bringing together the best of the Datto and Kaseya brands and solutions following the acquisition.
