Some were seasoned awards winners who still get a kick out of seeing their name up in lights and appreciate gaining recognition for their hard work and achievements. Others were new to the awards game but realised they had done something rather remarkable in the last 12 months that deserved to be marked in some way. And what better way than to win an industry award in a room full of your peers. For new businesses that are seeking to raise their profile this sort of recognition is invaluable – especially at a time when people from right across the ICT spectrum are looking to build partnerships with, or even acquire, businesses that have complementary expertise and capabilities. Of course, not anyone can win an award. But anyone can exhibit at TechLive 23 (while there is still space!). This one-day event returns to the Business Design Centre in Islington on September 12 and, like an industry award, it is a good way of gaining brand recognition throughout the vendor and channel community.
