The Overall Winner on the day, with a score of 43 points, was Tim Brooks from Pragma. The top four players – Tim Brooks, Shaun Wilkinson, Dean Gaunt and Nick Solomon – have been invited to play at the Warwickshire on October 14. They will be joined by the top four players from Forest Pines, which takes place on September 9, to play for the Overall Player of the Year award. This will take place alongside our third event at the Warwickshire, where we will have over 100 people playing across two courses. We would like to thank everyone who joined us. Fore! anniversary this year and run by volunteers, supporters and members, the club became a not-for-profit community football club in 2018. The club boasts a first team, a women’s team and a full-time academy for 16 to 19-year olds, as well as a number of junior boys and girls teams, comprising over 200 players. All play at Winklebury Football Complex. As part of the sponsorship deal, Exertis will have its logo on the front of the first team home shirts. Jack Miller, Chairman of Basingstoke After having to move the date a couple of times, we were finally able to get together at Manor House Golf Club on August 11. From the reaction of everyone who attended, it was definitely worth the wait. The golf club is in a fantastic location, the course itself was in excellent condition and, for some of us, it was very testing. To add some fun to the day, James Hosking from D-sales invited along Geoff Swain who is a world trick-golfing champion. Geoff spent time on the driving range and hole 10, giving advice and demonstrating a few of his tricks! He also provided the humour while presenting the prizes with Neil Brosnan of Exertis has become the main club sponsor of Basingstoke Town Community Football Club. Celebrating its 125th Town Community Football Club, said: “We’re so pleased to have Exertis on board as our Main Club sponsor.
