In his new role, he will be responsible for new business development, as Vapour targets sales growth of 50% in 2019. New board member for Acora Paul Renucci has joined UK-based IT services company Acora as a board member and Chief Sales Officer (CSO). Paul has previously held senior leadership positions at Nortel, Damovo, KCOM and Juniper. Following his appointment, James Karp will move full time to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his new role, Jones will concentrate on deepening relationships between SYNAXON UK and its channel partners and members, as parent company SYNAXON AG expands the range of services offered to UK members and channel partners. Many of these will be announced at the SYNAXON UK Member Conference, taking place at Jury’s Inn hotel, Hinckley on June 20-21. Anna-Marie joins Maverick AV Solutions from the Tech Data business Datech Solutions, where she helped implement a subscription sales model. She will work to bring Maverick’s core business and integration channel together with future solutions and technologies, including IOT and as-a- service models. As Business Unit Manager, Wesley Joyce will help execute business planning and go-to-market strategies for Maverick’s portfolio of manufacturers. Vendors Sharp Europe fills new position Sharp Europe has appointed Kai Thielen to the new position of European Marketing Director, reporting to Sascha Lange, European Vice President Sales & Marketing. Following positions at Sony and Bauknecht/ Whirlpool, Thielen became Trade Marketing Manager at LG in 2003 and, in 2012, became Head of Integrated Marketing with overall responsibility for LG’s brand communication in Germany. Tatarinov joins Acronis Erstwhile CEO of Citrix, Kirill Tatarinov, has joined the Acronis board of directors to help drive the adoption of Acronis cyber protection solutions in the enterprise sector. Tatarinov has more than 30 years’ experience in the software industry, including 13 years at Microsoft, where he was president of the Microsoft Business Solutions Division (MBS). Dayton bound for Vectra Didi Dayton has joined Vectra as vice president of worldwide channels and alliances. In this role, she will be responsible for delivering the company’s cyber security products to solution providers and partners worldwide. New VP for EMEA Sales Ruckus Networks has appointed Eric Law as VP of EMEA Sales to lead the company’s marketing, sales and operations throughout the region. He previously spent more than 17 years with Cisco before joining Purple to grow its worldwide sales operations from the ground up. New role for Nipshagen Akamai Technologies has appointed Hans Nipshagen, Managing Director of Akamai Benelux, as its new Head of EMEA Channels and Alliances.
