Filterless operation
NEC has made two laser-based additions
to its PA Series of LCD projectors. The
PA803UL and PA653UL models have a
filter-free design, eliminating one of the
biggest operational overheads of installed
projectors. Other key features and benefits
include high lumen output (8,000lm
from the PA803UL and 6,500lm from the
PA653UL); flexible installation options,
with 360 degree positioning support in
any direction; motorised zoom and focus;
interchangeable lens options and WUXGA
resolution support. The new PA653UL will
be available in April and the PA803UL in
August.
Built-in security
TCL Communication has launched a new
BlackBerry smartphone under a brand
licensing agreement. The BlackBerry
KEYone combines a touch display
with a physical keyboard that
gives users more space for typing
than a typical 5.5-inch all-touch
smartphone. There is also a
fingerprint sensor built directly
into the keyboard spacebar, for
added functionality and security.
The device comes pre-loaded with
DTEK by BlackBerry, which provides
constant security monitoring and
protection of your operating system
and apps.

meeting efficiency.
