Scanning on the go
The Epson Workforce DS-30 is
the company’s first portable A4
colour scanner. It weighs 325g,
has a maximum resolution of
600dpi and is powered by USB
2.0, so the only time you need
an external power supply is to
charge the device. Download
Epson Document Capture Pro
software and share documents
by email, SharePoint or the
cloud.
Stand out from the crowd with Tailor Made from paper
maker James Cropper. The new service lets you create

Easy workflow
automation
Xerox is helping SMBs digitise key
workflows with the introduction of
a web service that streamlines the
scanning of purchase orders, invoices,
receipts and other documents into
web applications as part of a single,
seamless process. Available through
Xerox channel partners, the Web
Capture Service works with any
make of scanner and with most web
applications including Microsoft Office
365, QuickBooks, Salesforce, SAP
and Concur. Also new from Xerox are
a number of pre-packaged apps for
ConnectKey i-Series MFPs developed
for specific vertical industries,
including education, healthcare,
finance and the general office. Each
Productivity Pack converts five industry-
specific, paper-based processes into

Integrated privacy
screen
HP Sure View, a new option on
the HP EliteBook 1040 and
HP EliteBook 840 notebooks,
helps protect against visual
hacking with the press of a
button. The integrated 3M
privacy screen reduces visible
light by up to 95% when
viewed at an angle, making it
difficult for others to read the
screen.
Recycled filament for
3D printing
Armor is helping reduce the
environmental cost of 3D printing by
launching a recycled and recyclable
3D filament under its OWA brand.
Compatible with all fused deposition
modelling 3D printers, the eco-
friendly filament is made from HIPS
(high impact polystyrene) plastic, an
alternative to ABS and PLA plastics.
OWA 3D reels and filaments are made
from recovered waste, including used
ink cartridges, and have 30% lower
CO2 emissions than a brand new
filament.
