01732 759725 BULLETIN 10 EveryonePrint signs pan-European agreement with Konica Minolta EveryonePrint has signed a pan-European agreement with Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe. The collaboration will see Konica Minolta expand its portfolio of cloud- based solutions to include EveryonePrint’s Hybrid Cloud Platform (HCP). EveryonePrint’s cloud-native print infrastructure solution will be available to customers across all European operating companies with immediate effect. With this new partnership, Konica Minolta can provide customers considering a cloud-first strategy for printing with a flexible, secure and efficient solution to eliminate print servers, Windows server licenses, and significantly lower printing costs. HCP, designed for Konica Minolta bizhub devices is a true cloud solution, designed to remove complexity, reduce the pressure on resources and lower support costs. It’s completely serverless and fully flexible; always on, always up to date and always secure. HCP supports zero trust network policies, provides full data encryption in transit and at rest, and offers built-in auditing functionality that enables organisations to proactively protect information, track documents, manage risk and achieve compliance. “Customers can leverage their investment in Konica Minolta print hardware and achieve better agility through our innovative cloud- based managed print platform and customised app for bizhub devices,” said Tavs Dalaa, CEO, EveryonePrint. “Utilising Konica Minolta's IWS platform, resellers can simply pre-configure the devices, connect to the customers’ existing IT infrastructure and deploy the application from the cloud – a process that takes minutes and doesn’t require specialist technicians to physically install software on the devices onsite.” www.everyoneprint.com Barracuda to boost MSP protection Barracuda Networks has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire SKOUT Cybersecurity, a Melville, NY-based leader in cyber-as-a-service software for MSPs and provider of an extended detection and response (XDR) platform and service. With this acquisition Barracuda has entered the fast-growing XDR market with a solution optimised for MSPs. SKOUT brings advanced technology and continues Barracuda’s strategic M&A momentum, which includes the recent acquisition of Zero Trust Access provider Fyde. Adding to Barracuda’s prior integrations with Open XDR platforms, SKOUT expands Barracuda’s portfolio with a powerful XDR platform for MSPs that is backed by a 24x7 SOC. “MSPs must be able to protect their customers’ end-users, their devices and the data they are accessing with these devices against increasingly sophisticated threats. To achieve this level of protection for their customers, and themselves, MSPs are transforming their businesses into security centric operations,” said Brian Babineau, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Barracuda MSP. “The addition of SKOUT enables Barracuda’s MSP partners to deploy security solutions across their environments, connecting their data feeds into a unified, 24x7 operation for swift analysis and response.” www.barracuda.com CyberFit delivery partner Williams Racing has welcomed UK-based cloud distributor Vuzion, as the Acronis #CyberFit Delivery Partner, in line with the Cyber Protection Partnership between Williams and Acronis that was renewed earlier this year. The ranges of both vendors will be made available through Brother’s Managed Label Service (MLS) platform, which will give businesses the option of spreading the upfront cost of new labelling and scanning devices, software, services and supplies over a monthly payment plan. The move will include Datalogic’s barcode scanning hardware and partners supplying the equipment will be able to simply integrate Brother labelling devices into customer deals via MLS, and vice versa. The vendors say the partnership will make it easier for resellers to specify label printers and barcoding technology for bespoke Auto-ID systems and provide them with access to a joint technical support team. www.brother.co.uk • www.datalogic.com Pioneer in managed print services Quocirca has recognised Konica Minolta as a pioneer in managed print services in its latest MPS Vendor Landscape, 2021 report, re-affirming the company as market leader for the scope and breadth of its portfolio.
