BUSINESS DESIGN CENTRE LONDON : 28 SEPTEMBER 2021 These events allow us to showcase our technology, not only to our existing channel but also to potential new partners. We haven’t been able to do a big event like this in such a long time and with that in mind we are hugely excited at the prospect of meeting new and existing partners. We have a few surprises to unveil at the show, so make sure you attend and we look forward to seeing you all there! What is Voiceflex likely to be showing at Technology Live? We will be discussing our portfolio, including SIP, MS Teams Direct Routing, UC application, SoGEA voice, and the opportunities it provides resellers – including ones that might be new to hosted telephony/unified comms. Why is now a good time to partner with Voiceflex? The market is changing, and we always look at the ‘what if?’ to ensure our partners have reliability and flexibility in everything we offer. What have you missed about physical events over the last 18 months? We have stopped running online events, as you don’t get the same interaction. Relationships are at the heart of everything we do and it’s hard to build a relationship without meeting someone in person. Voiceflex is all about the channel; we don’t sell direct. What is Xelion likely to be showing at Technology Live? Xelion will be showing the latest release of Xelion 8. As a company, we have always been at the forefront of hosted technology and have led the market with a softphone providing comprehensive functionality. When the pandemic hit, we dramatically changed our development roadmap, ensuring we were meeting partner demands. The biggest demand was, of course, the need for Video Conferencing and desktop sharing. As Xelion is owned and developed inhouse, we are agile and able to react quickly to meet the needs of the new WFH model. These developments are incorporated into Xelion 8 available this year. This will not affect the pricing of our licensing model as Xelion offer an All in User Licence, which includes all our features as standard out the box. What are the opportunities for resellers provided by the Xelion product portfolio – especially ones that might be new to hosted telephony? We don’t offer an ‘out the box’ solution that resellers can simply buy for x and sell for y. We take standard resellers and turn them into virtual service providers, giving them full control over the voice offering that they take to market. Xelion is hardware and trunking agnostic, so our resellers can source their own trunking providers, handsets and accessories and plug them directly into the Xelion platform. This allows our partners to offer customised solutions, adding value to stand out in a ‘meet too’ market that’s racing to the bottom on price. Why is now a good time to partner with Xelion? The pandemic has accelerated the trend for flexible, mobile working patterns and, with the planned withdrawal of ISDN by 2025, many businesses need to replace legacy PBX systems which are not VoIP compatible. Resellers who join Xelion now can reap the rewards this market disruption is causing. What have you missed about physical events over the last 18 months, and why they are important to Xelion and the channel? The pandemic has shown us how important networking and events are. We at Xelion have certainly missed events to demonstrate our technologically advanced UC platform.
