The sessions have helped us to navigate the challenge of Covid-19 in the workplace effectively, as we are all faced with new challenges and solutions, as well as adjusting the way that we are all working together. 3 Microsoft Azure As a Managed Service Provider (MSP) who built our solutions in private data centres, the use of Microsoft Azure was an important change for us as a company. When lockdown hit earlier this year, it was challenging to get hardware shipped from China, giving us no choice but to build new solutions in the on- demand public cloud. This consumption model software approach has provided additional benefits, such as the pay-per- use function and enhanced security. 4 Microsoft Teams The continued use of Microsoft Teams has been integral to the workings of our company. Many organisations have needed a cloud-based employee collaboration tool, and Teams has become the standout choice this year due to Microsoft’s aggressive development, accessibility and the implementation of specific tools. The security and permission-based access granting features completely sets this tool apart from its competitors and provides the vital service that companies in high compliance industries require. 5 LinkedIn LinkedIn is an integral part of the workings here at Atlas Cloud, providing an invaluable source of networking (pandemic or not). This has only been reinforced by this year’s global events, where remote-working and online communication between employees and across your wider professional and support network has never been so important. LinkedIn has provided us with a platform to store our extensive contacts and utilise company networking capabilities. www.atlascloud.co.uk 1 Microsoft 365 Suite The suite of apps on Microsoft 365 allows me to pick up where I left off with multiple devices, allowing my work to flow throughout the day.
