Now, the print vendor has announced an expanded 9-Series line-up alongside new centralised AI-powered cloud solutions, designed to help channel partners enhance profitability The three new A3 models include the Lexmark CX950, CX951 and MX953. The company has also introduced two models - the XC9525 and XC9535, which are specifically designed for authorised Business Solutions Dealers (BSD). With this latest release, Lexmark partners have access to the vendor’s broadest line of printers and MFPs in its history. This empowers them to offer customers a wider selection of A3 price points, print speeds from 25 up to 55 ppm, and a choice between mono or color devices. Among other benefits, this allows partners to deliver a cohesive Lexmark-only fleet tailored to customers’ specific needs. Lexmark’s 9-Series portfolio combines versatility, simplicity, and sustainability. Notably, the new models’ total post-consumer recycled (PCR) content is 56% by weight for all base‑model MFPs and 73% by weight for the line’s base-model printer, based on IEEE calculation procedures. They are built with reliability and easy serviceability in mind for partners, and designed to deliver an intuitive, easy to use experience for end-users. Making a big impression All of this has made a big impression on Lexmark partners, as Les McDonnell, Managing Director at IPS explains: “I was very excited by the launch of the new 9-Series. I was lucky enough to be one of several partners invited to see the 9-Series in the early stages of development and, like most engineers, when we see something new, we like to be brutally honest. I gave it 90/100 and when I explained why I hadn’t given it top marks, they actually listened and they incorporated everything that the partners asked for – bigger RADF, bigger display screen, high and low yield toner options, toner lock etc. “This really surprised me. I have never heard of any manufacturer that listens to their dealers the way Lexmark does. These changes have made the new A3 range the very best product on the market bar none, and I believe it could be a real game-changer,” he added. Mark Balment, Managing Director at Dufeu Managed Print agrees: “We have been partnering with Lexmark now for over two years. It was the reliability of the A4 technology and commitment to sustainability that initially grabbed our attention, and we are delighted that the new 9-Series A3 product is a continuation of those strengths. A product that is designed to last a minimum of seven years, a bullet-proof warranty process, and polystyrene-free packaging are all added bonuses.” According to Gareth Brown, Sales Director at Netbox Digital, the Lexmark 9-Series range was one of the best launches he’s been to in his 20-year career. “The 9-Series range is an excellent addition to the Lexmark family of devices and I especially like the ‘speed kits’, which I think is a groundbreaking solution to get the most out of the Lexmark range. It’s something I never thought possible, but it makes complete sense and is a great alternative to other manufacturers and unique.” Easy-to-maintain and fast-to-service Offering reliable, fast-to-fix, easy-tomaintain devices is key to Lexmark’s commitment to helping partners enhance profitability. Fewer and long-lasting replaceable components reduce the likelihood of technical failure as well as minimise the service time required for repairs and maintenance. 9-Series printers and MFPs have one access panel, do not incorporate dual layer components, which makes it much easier and quicker to remove and replace parts, and some lifetime parts can COVER STORY
