Print IT Reseller - issue 127

PRINTIT AWARDS 20 25 Royal Lancaster · December 2 It’s been a busy start to the year, planning and preparing to launch the 2025 PrintIT Awards in May. We’ve introduced a few changes this year, included some new categories and updated some of the entry criteria. Here’s a first look at the 2025 awards line-up Each category is designed to recognise and reward the people and companies in our sector across six distinct award classifications – corporate awards, reseller awards, people awards, product and solution awards, four general PrintIT Awards, as well as two special categories which are not entry-based – Industry Leader of the Year and the Judges’ Special Award. There are 26 award categories that you can enter this year – so there’s definitely something for everyone. We’ve reduced the number of voting categories to just three – and we’d encourage you to vote for your favourite A3 MFP Vendor of the Year, A4 Printer/MFP Vendor of the Year, and Finance & Leasing Provider of the Year. New for 2025 In response to demand, both the Hardware Distributor of the Year and EOS Distributor of the Year categories now require candidates to submit an entry, you’ll be able to see the criteria once we officially launch this year’s edition. There are a few new categories this year. In light of all of the stellar work this industry is doing to promote a circular economy and do business more sustainably, we have introduced a new award – Circular Business/Initiative of the Year – that’s designed to shine a light on vendors who are making a difference. We also recognise that the reseller network is broad and deep and that a one‑size-fits-all approach isn’t equitable. We have amended the popular Service Team of the Year award, creating two categories that are defined by turnover, in the same way the Reseller of the Year awards are split based on the size of the company. And finally, we have refreshed the entry criteria for several other categories so be sure to read what’s required carefully before drafting your entries. Entries to the 2025 PrintIT Awards will officially open on Tuesday May 6. I’ll include my top tips to write a winning entry next issue, which will hopefully help get you started. 22 01732 759725
