Plus, it works as an App on my laptop and phone, so I don’t need to be in front of an MFD to make it work, and within minutes, I can be up and running, listening to the newly created files. 5 Brilliant colleagues and channel partners I’m incredibly fortunate to work with a fantastic group of colleagues, collaborators, and partners in the Xerox channel organisation. There’s nothing a group of motivated, talented, and committed people can’t achieve, and by working closely and in partnership with our channel partners, we can deliver brilliant results to them and their clients. Every day starts with a full pot of coffee, ready to help me kickstart the day – I don’t think I’d be able to get going without it! Even just boiling the kettle allows me a couple of minutes to focus on my priority tasks and clear my thoughts for the day before I fire up the laptop and join my first meetings. I can often be spotted on video calls with a giant red mug (Xerox red, obviously!), and I need at least three cups before the best ideas arrive! 2 Teams Teams is a must-have technology for me to do my job. Even before the pandemic, Xerox enabled colleagues to work remotely and gave us the tools we needed to perform our roles. Thankfully, Teams has made remote working even more manageable, allowing me to be productive and work remotely without losing time or connection to my colleagues and channel partners. Thankfully, it’s become the norm to video call or chat if you can’t be in a meeting or an office together. I can still connect with colleagues and partners to do the job efficiently. 3 Podcasts During the pandemic, I listened to Podcasts as part of my daily walk routine, which continued into my working day. I love finding new topics and episodes to listen to and picking subjects I don’t know much about to broaden my knowledge and opinions. Even when working from home, I’ve often got a podcast on in the background; strangely, they also help me focus on spreadsheets and emails!
