In addition, built into our product launch process is promoting all features that have environmental gains. We believe knowledge is key here for our partners, they need to be equipped by us to talk about these features with their clients. Finally, each year we produce a global sustainability report which outlines everything we have done in the past 12 months and where we are on our journey to our Eco Vision 2050. Within this report, partners can access data such as product life cycle assessments. Transparency with information is crucial and helps bridge that gap. Arjan Paulussen, Managing Director, Lexmark UK, Western Europe and English-speaking Africa: Lexmark performs third-party lifecycle assessments (LCAs) on all of our product families. This information is posted publicly and available to all. We also use this data to do an accurate analysis of the fleet footprint based on the life cycle of each device (ISO 14025). These emissions are then offset through investments in a carefully curated portfolio of certified carbon avoidance and removal projects. Customers receive a certificate detailing the carbon credits purchased to neutralise their device’s carbon footprint, supporting their net-zero aligned commitment to sustainability. Paul Leach, Director of Dealer Sales, Sharp UK: We’re helping our partners by educating and training them on the features and benefits of our devices and solutions. We have many energy-saving functions built into our devices. Once enabled these reduce the amount of energy consumed. For example, devices can be configured to automatically sleep outside of business hours. We are also talking to our partners about specifying the right device for the right situation. The faster a device the more energy it will use to do its job. If a client is seeking energy savings, they can explore smaller A4 device such as our new BP533WR model which the total energy consumption (TEC) and total cost of ownership of current fleets against proposed ones, which has seen instant impact and wins for our partners. Our commitment to sustainability extends throughout our supply chain and services, with numerous ongoing initiatives that instil confidence in customers that partnering with Ricoh actively contributes to their TEC reduction and ESG goals. We have also developed various offerings around product lifecycle and initiatives designed to reduce the impact of this cycle and provide our partners with offerings that they can take to market. A testament to our dedication to innovation in sustainability is our latest IMC range, which boasts a 27% lower carbon footprint across its lifecycle compared to predecessor models. Furthermore, we have partnered with Anthesis B.V., a member of the International Carbon Reduction & Offsetting Alliance, to offer carbonbalanced printing on these models.
