The vast majority of Altkin products carry the Nordic Swan Ecolabel accreditation, we don’t do every single product we tend to do the top 300 or 400 lines. We also haven’t mentioned price so far, we are price competitive, we will certainly save the resellers money on cost per copy and help them make a higher margin and of course most importantly for the reseller, we offer next day delivery. Q: You provide your products through distribution in UK&I, how do you work with your partners? A: I’ve been with Altkin for three and a half years and when I first joined, there was very little distribution in place, and certainly for the reseller community it was critical that they had a next day service. I’m pleased to say that we now have partnerships with UFP, with Westcoast, and with Exertis Supplies, who all offer our products on a next day service. I would add that with 3,000 SKUs in the range, not all of those will be available next day. But those distribution partners are more than happy to add to that range to give resellers the portfolio that they need. Q: So, in closing, what’s the plan for growth in the UK&I in 2024 and beyond? A: It may sound cliché, but we are looking to be the one-stop-shop for all the resellers’ consumable needs in the UK and Ireland. In terms of acquisitions, we’re hoping more will follow in the future into 2025. As I mentioned earlier, back in December of 2023, we acquired THS which gave us access to a bigger range of product, parts, drums, waste bottles and specialist brands like UTAX and Olivetti as well. We’re certainly looking to add to our headcount here in the UK in terms of sales, which is good news. Since I joined three and a half years ago, we’ve grown sales year on year and that is continuing through 2024. I think we’re almost the best kept secret in the industry, no one knows the name, hopefully they will do a lot more now. What we’re looking to do is open that out to more UK and Ireland resellers to benefit from the Altkin story, the heritage, the product range, the quality, the closed loop solutions.
