01732 759725 `OPEN DAY 34 Last month DSales welcomed 80 dealer partners to an open day at its Yorkshire HQ. During the day, the company introduced a refreshed A4 and A3 MFP line-up and announced a new range of partnerships and services designed to further enhance the offering to its network of dealers processing, cloud connectivity and security, as well as the i-Options range of license key-enabled optional enhancements for iSeries devices and is further expanding its offering through new partnerships with developers such as Filestar. The new D-Solutions offering will also encompass Develop Marketplace, which houses a collection of tools and apps to streamline processes and improve efficiency. The apps are obtained by license key and can be sold outright or added as a bolt-on to a leasing agreement. National service coverage Through a new programme, DSales is enabling partners to access national technical support and service on an all-inclusive CPC contract. The new D-Service offering will enable Develop resellers to confidently go after national contracts, knowing they can service customers with multiple branches across the UK. Devices will be PDI’d, delivered and installed at the customer’s site with a sticker applied to provide them with contact details to access engineer support - the D-Service agreement includes an initial set of toner, original parts and any repairs to be conducted on-site. Sustainability With a strategy to support its own and its partners’ sustainability goals, DSales revealed it will be installing more solar panels at head office to provide green energy which will be used to power all everyday operations including charging the forklifts in its warehouse and fleet of EVs. Taking this one step further, the company also announced a new consumables recycling service. This will be managed by WBM who has recently been named the UK partner for Circular Planet, providing free collection and recycling services for genuine OEM branded printer consumables. And thirdly, from May 1 DSales has committed to planting a tree for every Develop device sold, in partnership with treeapp who support reforestation projects worldwide. To kick the project off, the company planted a tree for every partner who joined them on the open day. Refreshed MFP range Guests were invited to view the new 21-strong range of ineo i-Series devices which have been designed to prioritise performance, productivity and reliability with security and ease of use at the forefront. Partners were also reminded to take advantage of DSales comprehensive technical training programme which ensures that service managers and field engineers are up to date on the latest developments, alongside online training videos, service portal and helpdesk support. Partners also benefit from next-day delivery of machines and consumables thanks to the company’s commitment to hold comprehensive stocks in the UK. In a closing address, Konica Minolta’s Head of Distributor Sales David Nuttall, praised the DSales team and the professional and efficient manner in which they represent the Develop brand in the UK. Moving on to business, the company announced what it calls its new ‘3D’ service offering, which includes D-Finance, D-Service and D-Solutions. D-Finance is a range of specialist finance options provided in partnership with Hexa Finance, a dynamic financial services and consultancy business located in Newport, South Wales. which includes preferential lease rates for Develop devices. Expanded solutions offering In a move to streamline and simplify its solutions offering, the company also introduced D-Solutions, which brings all of its proprietary and ISV partner software portfolio, data security solutions and device enhancements, together under one brand.
