UiPath opens AI Innovation Hub in London New collaboration space to promote development of cutting-edge AI solutions with tech leaders and academia Automation expert UiPath has opened new offices and a state-of-the-art space dedicated to advancing AI and automation in the heart of London’s tech community. The AI Innovation Hub aims to facilitate collaboration on AI research and the development of new business solutions in partnership with University College London (UCL) and technology leaders such as Microsoft, SAP and AWS, while also providing a space where the AI pioneers of the future can hone their skills using UiPath’s resources. UiPath’s new offices and AI Innovation Hub were opened by Daniel Dines, co-founder and CEO of UiPath; Feryal Clark MP, the UK Government’s Minister for AI; and John Kelleher, UiPath Vice President for the UK, Ireland and Nordics. Dines said: “This isn’t just an office. It’s a launchpad for ideas, collaboration and transformation. Here, the brightest minds in AI will come together to explore what’s possible, pioneering solutions that will drive businesses forward and shape the future of industries worldwide.” He added: “London, with its worldclass universities and thriving tech ecosystem, is uniquely positioned to be the epicentre of AI innovation. This office and AI hub represents a major opportunity for the UK’s innovation ecosystem. It will allow UiPath to work with the brightest minds to pioneer a new approach to AI while generating a flywheel effect, bringing together the resources, knowledge and business approach to support the UK’s most cutting-edge AI start-ups.” UiPath displayed its own AI capabilities at the opening, showing guests interactive demonstrations of how automation and artificial intelligence can address real-world business challenges, from streamlining operations to revolutionising customer experiences. Speaking on behalf of the Government, Feryal Clark MP said: “AI is at the heart of our plan to drive economic growth, transform public services and ensure the UK remains a global leader in technological innovation. UiPath’s Innovation Hub is another vote of confidence in our thriving AI sector and talent, bringing researchers and businesses together to help us take advantage of everything AI has to offer.” roughly – and I have two sayings that I always bring to the table: ‘Be visible’ and ‘Be present’. Arrive at these events, be there, be present, show your face, learn, get information, because I believe the best way to drive this forward is for people to pass on information,” explains Huntingford. “I learn in public, and I tell our team to learn in public, and that’s been great for getting people really keen. We have a hive of buzzing people ready to do AI. We’re just trying to figure out who should do what right now, and we’re working very hard on driving that approach across the market, from a visibility and a presence perspective.” Huntingford adds that this is, inevitably, changing the conversations ANS has with its customers and strengthening the existing trend for technology providers to be seen as trusted advisers. “As I said, there’s no expert in AI. Copilot was released a year ago to the public, so if an organisation is saying we are experts at rolling out Copilot, I would question that. What I say to my customers is ‘This is a collaboration. We’re going to work together and figure this out’. We show them what we have and what we’ve learned; we ask them what it is they think they need; and then we go through a process of being able to challenge each other openly without causing offence. It’s been really good for us and for the customers we’ve worked with too.” https://www.ans.co.uk/ Cutting the ribbon (l to r): Feryal Clark MP, Minister for AI; Daniel Dines, UiPath co-founder and CEO; and John Kelleher, UiPath Vice President for the UK, Ireland and Nordics
