New DoDo pad a real to do
Adding to its already impressive range of diaries,
organisers and planners, the fun new To DoDo

Organised by the London Stationery
Show, National StationeryWeek is a
celebration of the written word and
all things stationery, which in 2014
reached over 20 million consumers
with the message that writing by hand
is important and still has a vital role to
play in personal communications.
The third day of National Stationery
Week 2015,Wednesday 29 April 2015,
has been designatedWorld Stationery
Day.
Paper-Oh
launches in the UK
Hartley & Marks, the power behind the iconic
Paperblanks brand, which has an ever growing
worldwide dedicated fan base, has expanded its
product range to include a new range of notebooks
called Paper-Oh.
A collaborative effort between designers Nadine
Werner andWade Berridge, Paper-Oh is aimed at graphic
designers, architects and doodlers. It expands upon
the firm’s long history of publishing and bookbinding,
resulting in a product that is both functional and
aesthetically pleasing.
The brand, which has been in development for several
years, has recently been trialled in Germany and is now
ready to be launched to the UK market. SarahWhite,
European Marketing & PR Manager at Hartley & Marks,
said: “Everything we create is the result of our passion for
the art of bookbinding and our desire to push the limits
of what people expect from a notebook.”
A survey conducted to mark National
DiaryWeek (10-16 November 2014)
revealed that VE Day (8 May 1945) is
Britain’s most important date, ahead of
the Battle of Hastings in 1066 and women
being granted the vote in 1918.
The memorable dates survey was carried
out to mark National DiaryWeek, organised
by Collins Debden and supported by Ryman,
Staples and Amazon.
Julie Lynch, Sales and Marketing Director
at Collins Diaries, said: “National DiaryWeek
is all about celebrating the paper diary and
recognising that technology, while fantastic,
can’t replace some time-honoured traditions.
The top 10 most memorable dates reflect
that ethos and show that Brits are keen to
remember and celebrate our rich history.”
