encompassing white and manilla board
backed and gusset variants; will be
available from January.
Motif envelopes will be available in a
broad range of sizes, in self-seal, gummed
or peel ‘n’ seal options and in either plain
or window format.
PaperlinX Procurement Director Scott

a single brand that’s available from both
companies in order to provide customers
with greater choice, availability and
competitive pricing.”
The new envelope offering will also
include tinted and speciality envelopes
to meet demand particularly within the
commercial print market. Motif will also
include envelopes specifically designed
for automated mailing processes, as well
as high quality stationery suitable for the
growing personalised print market.
In addition, the merchant group will
continue to offer Revive, its premium
recycled brand; alongside a newly
developed range of design-led premium
envelopes under its Fabriano brand; as
well as a full suite of packaging and
specialist solutions featuring well-known
brands including Jiffy, MailLite, Tyvek and
Featherpost.

The premium envelope brands
from Bong UK; Plus Fabric and New
Guardian, have undergone a makeover
for 2013. The new packaging designs
are modern and eye catching, for
maximum impact and feature
improved labelling on two sides,
making it easier to identify the correct
product.
With the increasing importance of
online trading and in order to stand out
on screen and on page, the new brand
designs have clean and clear logos that
create strong icons.
Plus Fabric
, with its new strapline
‘When Presentation Matters’ is a range
of prestige envelopes made from bright
white, 110gsm and 120gsm paper,
designed to project a professional
image. Available in a variety of
standard envelope sizes, C6 – C4 and
a selected range of board back and
gusset envelopes, these are premium
quality envelopes, for image conscious
businesses. Ideal for companies where
appearance is important and who wish
to draw attention to their corporate
mailings, promotions or targeted direct
mail activity.
New Guardian – First Class Postal
Protection
manilla envelopes are made
from a strong 130gsm paper, perfect
to protect mailings. The distinctive
two tone paper reflects the premium
product. Available in a wide range of
sizes, from small envelopes right up to C3
size and a large selection of board back
and gusset envelopes, New Guardian is
ideal for sending anything from invoices
and statements, through to bulkier
items, such as corporate brochures and
catalogues.
On selected products, Plus Fabric and
New Guardian also have two unique
additional features. Power-Tac peel and
seal is an exceptionally strong adhesive;
super sticky from the minute the strip is
peeled back, ensuring contents are secure
straight away. Plus it has an extended
shelf life compared to a gummed or self-
seal envelope. The Easy Open feature is a
built in tear strip that allows the recipient
to open the envelope quickly and easily
without damaging the contents or
compromising security.
Bong says that almost all businesses
will have a requirement for these two
premium envelope ranges.Whether it’s
the personnel and finance departments,
who require a level of confidentiality,
discretion and security; the marketing
department wanting to draw attention
to their communications, to ensure
that mailings are not seen as junk mail;
the sales department for whom first
impressions really count, or the post
room, who want ease of use, reliability,
security and protection.
Both the Plus Fabric and New
Guardian websites will be updated in
January in line with the new brand
designs.

envelope brands have been established
for over 40 years, and were acquired
by Bong UK from Hamelin in October
2010. Other brands within the Bong UK
product portfolio include Basildon Bond,
100% recycled business envelopes, and
Tyvek a range of burst, tear and water
resistant envelopes.
