Senator named winner
Office furniture manufacturer
Senator International has been named
the winner of the 2013 Furniture
Makers’ Sustainability Award.
The award recognises the progress
being made to reduce the impact
on the environment of furniture
manufacturing in Britain and is open
to members of the Furniture Industry
Sustainability Programme (FISP)
and holders of the Furniture Makers’
Manufacturing Guild Mark (MGM).

within internationally recognized standards. The paper is made from Elementary
Chlorine Free (ECF) pulp, which is sourced from sustainable, properly managed
forestation.
iPhone cleaning
Computer and office equipment
cleaning experts, AF International,
recently polled 2,000 UK iPhone
users to find out more about
mobile phone ownership and
cleaning. Almost one third (31.6%)
of survey respondents said they
cleaned their iPhone screen a few
times a week, with 26% cleaning
their screen once a day.
The methods used for cleaning
iPhones varied greatly: 2.3% use their
fingers, 13% wipe the screen on their
trousers, 29.6% use their sleeves and
21.4% use a specially formulated
screen cleaning wipe such as AF
International’s Multi-Screen Clene.
Men were most likely to use a
screen cleaning wipe, whilst women
were more likely to wipe the iPhone
screen with their sleeve.
