Return, refurbish and re-use
NEC Display Solutions Europe has unveiled its refurbish and re-use programme for aged
projectors of any make or model. Customers who recently purchased an NEC projector
can now trade-in their used product in the NEC ReTrade programme
and receive a cash return. The returned units will be refurbished for
re-use in the market or recycled responsibly to reduce material
waste and unnecessary resource consumption.
Customers simply need to visit the ReTrade website www.nec-retrade.
com and provide proof of an NEC projector purchase in the last three
months. Once the details of the old and new projectors are registered,
an instant trade-in quote will be provided and the customer receives an
email with a free shipping label to send in the used product.

Planning and presentation
Sigel’s popular artverum Magnetic Glass
Boards are now available in new large
formats. The new board sizes – up to 120 x
90cm – provide an extra large presentation
area, making them ideal for planning and
organisation, as well as being a stylish
alternative to standard whiteboards.
All artverum boards are magnetic and can
be written on and wiped clean without leaving
any residue. In addition, their linear design and
polished tempered glass turn them into designer
pieces for the wall.
Two of the new magnetic glass boards feature
an etched, matt glass surface meaning they can
also be used as a projection screen. Films and
presentations can be projected onto the boards,
available in 4:3 and 16:9 formats, in perfect image
quality and contrast.

Ultra-short throw projectors
ViewSonic’s brand new PJD8 series of ultra-
short throw projectors come with an impressive
assortment of features including dual pen
interactivity and advanced connectivity
functionality.
This new ultra-short throw, networkable
series allows the projector to be mounted
right above a whiteboard or screen without
creating hot spots, shadows or casting bright
light in front of the presenter. This makes it
ideal for smaller or difficult projection spaces like
classrooms and meeting rooms.
Equipped with a Crestron LAN controller, the
PJD8 series makes it easy for IT administrators to
remotely control and manage multiple projectors
from their workstations, while AMX Device
Discovery certification allows for easy integration.
All PJD8 series projectors come with BrilliantColor
technology, for vibrant colours and 2,500-3,000
ANSI lumens for bright images.
