the highlights
This year’s office* show, the essential event for PAs, EAs
and Office Managers, takes place at a brand new venue of
London’s Olympia onWednesday 12 and Thursday
13 September. Over 175 exhibitors will be offering
everything from stationery to business travel, training to
corporate hospitality. As P2P went to press, the show’s
organisers Diversified Business Communications said that
they are expecting 4,000+ visitors to attend.
Returning for its third year, office* is
the go-to show for office professionals
wishing to utilise the latest tools,
products, services, and technologies
they need to meet the unique
challenges of their constantly evolving
roles. The 2012 event promises to be
bigger and better than ever. One of
the show’s key draws is its dynamic
exhibitor line-up and this year’s is no
exception, with an impressive number
of new business-to-business suppliers
including Ryman, Grosvenor Business
Travel, CitySprint, Esselte, Stabilo
and Plustek ready to mark their show
debut with a host of new innovations
for this important buying group.
Within the exhibition visitors will
enjoy an increased opportunity to expand

the new HBAA Village – already sold out
with space taken by companies including
Midlands-based venue sourcing agency
Conference Care and Ellis Salsby, one

Other exciting returning features

and Venue Village – featuring venues
from across the UK, the benefit Pamper
Parlour – a chance to relax with the help
of a world-leading cosmetic brand and
the Uniball Café – network and enjoy a
break from the show floor.
Alongside the exhibition sits office*’s
32-strong, four-theatre, seminar and
master class training programme which
promises to provide visitors with a
wealth of invaluable tools and practical
solutions, which can be taken away and
implemented in their office immediately.
Topics being covered include
successful networking, personal
effectiveness, saving time with Microsoft
and tips for managing multiple bosses.
Entry to the exhibition is free of
charge, including entry to the Keynote
Theatre where visitors will be able to hear
inspirational free Keynotes from Deborah
Meaden of Dragons’ Den fame, and Penni
Pike, Richard Branson’s Executive Personal
Assistant of 31 years amongst others.
