adjustable protective case for Android tablets
incorporating a stylus holder, integrated

Right way up
TheWearable Interactive Technology grip, or
WITgrip, is a patented method of wearing
technology, such as a smartwatch or smartphone,
on the side of one’s wrist. Compatible with
devices of any size from any manufacturer, the
WITgrip enables the wearer to assume a neutral
arm position and still see their device’s screen.
Potential beneficiaries of WITgrip include pickers in
warehouses who can see the screen while handling
packages or drivers who can see their watch while
remaining in full control of a vehicle.
Connected paper
PowerCoat Alive paper by Arjowiggins
connects the digital and print worlds.
Each sheet of paper features an NFC tag
that links consumers directly to a web
link when a smart device is hovered over
it. It enables any printed material, such
as brochures, packaging and labels, to be
interactive and deliver additional content
including product information and special
offers to consumers. Software associated
with PowerCoat Alive enables users to
change the web link at any point and
measure the impact of campaigns.

INNOVATIONS
Three for all
On the 25th anniversary of its three-legged conference
phone, Polycom has introduced three new conferencing
solutions for a variety of room sizes. For huddle rooms, the Polycom
VoxBox offers Polycom HD Voice quality in an ultra-compact, portable
speaker phone. For mid-sized rooms, the Polycom Trio 8500 provides HD
voice audio quality, Polycom NoiseBlock technology, a full colour touchscreen
interface and Microsoft Exchange calendar integration. Finally, for large conference rooms,
the Polycom Trio 8800 allows participants to connect using Apple AirPlay or Miracast-
certified devices and, later this year, will support enterprise-class motorised pan-tilt-zoom
(MPTZ) cameras for improved visibility in large conference rooms.
