On the other hand the close partnership with graphics tablet manufacturer, Wacom, has
enabled Olivetti to launch an entry-level signature capturing tablet, called the
Graphos Kit
,
that is ideal for businesses who need to handle a large amount of signed documents, critical to
their business, such as hotels, car and van hire companies and repair centres, letting agencies
and many more.
The paper-work can be digitised, signed and then locked in place, on a PC, without requiring
space in the ofce for ling cabinets. Like the more sopisticated Olivetti Graphametric
Signature System, which is installed in banks and insurance companies, this plug-and-play
device allows users to manage their own documentation in the certainty that the signature
they receive is authentic and they can save on printing costs by storing paperwork digitally.
The software is a simple download from the Olivetti website. A short video is available on the
olivetti web site, which gives more detail.
It uses technology that registers a person’s individual signature characteristics; speed, pressure,
rhythm, movement and acceleration, so nothing is left to chance.
