SIP telephony for SMEs
The KX-NS1000 brings all the benefits
of SIP and IP communications to small
and medium-sized businesses, from
tight integration with a wide range of
SIP-enabled devices to low-cost or free
calls via SIP trunks.
The latest member of the Panasonic
KX family, this sophisticated Pure IP PBX
supports up to 1,000 IP users, 256 SIP
trunks and can be networked between
many thousands of locations. It includes
a full suite of network telephony and
communications features for office-based,
mobile, remote and home-based staff, plus
an extensive choice of fixed and cordless
terminals, headsets and softphones to
support a range of work styles.
The KX-NS1000 meets the growing
need for unified communications with a
range of built-in features including voice
messaging, an interactive voice response
system, integrated call routing and an
optional fax server.

The space-saving KV-S1026C and
KV-S1015C are highly productive,
colour duplex scanners for the business
desktop and small office/home office
sector, plus key vertical applications,
such as the scanning of ID cards and
passports in banks, car hire companies
and hospitals.
Both models can scan up to 2,000
pages a day at resolutions of 600 dpi;
come with three one-touch buttons for
pre-defined workflows; boast a 50-sheet
automatic document feeder and separate
embossed card feeder; offer colour scan
speeds of 20 pages per minute; and
feature an active double-feed prevention
roller and ultrasonic Double Feed
detection to prevent double-feeding.
The KV-S1015C is designed for office-
based, administrative applications, such as
the scanning of letters, invoices, receipts
etc., while the KV-S1026C is directed
mainly at specific vertical applications
in the healthcare, hospitality, logistics,
entertainment and banking industries.
The KV-S1015C comes with a number
of bundled productivity solutions,
including Biz Card business card
scanning software; Page Manager for
storing, organising and editing scanned
documents; and connectors for uploading
scanned documents to cloud services
such as MS SharePoint or Google Docs.
The KV-S1026C has a faster mono
scanning speed of 30ppm, comes
with more sophisticated image

centre features, are easy to add via the
Computer Telephony Interface.
As a network server, the NS1000 offers
various options for single and multi-
site expansion, with support for both
SIP and H.323 based inter-networking,
plus traditional ISDN QSIG connectivity.
