The O2 Hurricane Canless Air System is being
promoted as a healthy, green alternative to
canned air for cleaning electronics, blinds,
collectables and anything else that gathers
dust in the workplace or home. The portable,
cordless, rechargeable device electronically
compresses air and blasts it onto the surface
of the object being dusted without the need
for any harmful chemicals. The O2 Hurricane
can be recharged 500 times and each charge
delivers a continuous
run-time of 18
minutes, equal to
more than 25 cans
of canned air. The
O2 Hurricane plus
charger is available
online for $79.95
plus shipping and
handling,

Experian screens for TPS/CTPS
Experian is helping customers stay up-to-date with the
Corporate Telephone Preference Service (CTPS) – an
opt-out register for businesses that don’t want to receive
unsolicited sales/marketing calls – with a new service
that allows them to automate CTPS (and standard
TPS) monitoring on a daily basis, for 3p per contact, per
year. As part of the service, Experian screens millions of
records on a daily basis and alerts organisations that
have purchased Experian prospect data when a contact
registers with the TPS/CTPS saving them from having to
do it themselves.
Twice the power
An essential bit of kit for anyone who
travels for work or pleasure, Scosche’s
reVOLT c2 car charger has two USB
ports allowing it to recharge two USB
devices, including power-hungry tablets,
simultaneously. Available from the Square
Group for £19.99, the reVOLT c2 has an
ultra low-profile design that sits flush with
most vehicle power sockets and works
with Scosche’s reVIVE App for advanced
battery management. The free download for
Android and iOS devices shows how much
time remains in a device’s battery and how
long it will take to recharge.

Imation enhances
USB security
Imation is introducing location-based
management capabilities to lessen
the security risks posed by removable
USB devices.
A new feature of Imation Access

Defender, MXI Security and McAfee
Encrypted USB secure USB devices,
the new tools enable administrators to
manage and control USB use inside and
outside the network.
In particular, they give
administrators the power to restrict
use to IP addresses that have been
evaluated as safe; to mandate that a
device contacts an Access Enterprise
Server before unlocking can go ahead;
and to disable devices remotely by soft-
blocking, killing or ‘bricking’ (physically
destroying a drive’s contents).
