When Olivetti launched its range
of colour and mono MFPs and
desktop printers this year, the
aim was to guarantee all-round
improvement thoughout the entire
range of 35 new products that will
be launched by the end of 2014.
It’s a tall order to bring so many
new products to market but the

at the high volume end of the extensive
d-Color MF
PLUS
MFP range offer outstanding
performance and energy savings for
businesses. Ideal for centralised offices, large
workgroups and CRDs they both output
colour prints and copies at 60ppm but in
mono at 65ppm and 75ppm respectively.
The two models support media weights up
to 256 g/m
2
and formats of up to SRA3 and
Banner (1.2 meters in length). Their extensive
finishing capabilities include booklet finishing
with automatic crease-fold and saddle-stitch;
front cover creation, of up to 209 g/m
2
, the
tri-folding of A4 pages into DL size, ready
for posting, and a Dual-scan system enables
impressive simultaneous front and back
scanning with speeds of up to 180ipm.
When it comes to calculating energy use
and cost savings the d-Color MF652
PLUS
, for
example, has a TEC value of just 4.9 KW/h per
working week, which is, currently, one of the
lowest TEC value of any product in this speed
class in today’s market.
