In May, OKI unveiled a major
expansion of its printer and
multifunction printer portfolio that
included products tailored to suit
businesses of all sizes. The portfolio
which combined innovative new
models with enhancements of
existing products was designed to
offer business customers printers
and multifunction printers that are
affordable, without compromising on
performance or reliability.
For the micro and small business, where
cost of acquisition is the most important
factor, new models included the B401
mono printer, which lowered the entry
price for a professional quality duplex
capable device. Also launched was the
C300 range of colour printers, together
with a choice of mono multifunction
printers, including the MB441 and MB451,
aimed at providing top performance, such
as automatic double sided copying as
standard, at a price point previously only
delivering basic functionality. And targeted
at the small to medium-sized workgroup –
the C500 Series A4 colour printers
.
C800 series
The new C800 series of A3 colour printers
was the recipient of the Editor’s Choice
Award. The C800 models offer enhanced
performance compared to previous models
and as they are not much bigger than
conventional A4 only colour laser printers,
are easily accommodated in even the
smallest of offices.
C822
Ultra compact
– just 360 x 449 x
552mm (H x W x D) and affordable, the
C822 printer delivers outstanding colour
A4 and A3 output at speeds up to 23
pages per minute (ppm). Boasting fast
warm-up (27 seconds from sleep) and
a fast first page out time (less than 14
seconds), it’s also network ready and
comes with PCL emulation for easy
integration into a computer environment
and for general office applications.
The standard paper capacity of 400
sheets can be enhanced with a second
paper tray option which takes capacity to
930 sheets. And thanks to energy saving
features such as ‘deep sleep’ and ‘auto
power off’ it is very environmentally sound.
Plus, OKI’s new PCL driver also makes
using the C822 easier, with a new toner
saving feature that reduces the colour
toner used whilst maintaining crisp clear
black text.
C831
This compact and versatile A3 colour
printer can handle all business printing
needs quickly and affordably in-house.
The combination of OKI’s proven LED
technology with a fast processor and
new fusing technology quickly sets about
turning creative ideas into vibrant business
documents.
Fast print speeds

high. PCL & PostScript printer languages
make it suitable for all platforms and all
applications including graphics.
The standard paper capacity of 400
sheets can be supplemented by up to
three additional paper trays bringing the
maximum paper capacity to 1,990 sheets
with each tray supporting media weights
up to 220gsm. It’s possible to print on
high quality card and other media types
from A6 to A3 and even 1.32 metre
banners and on weights up to 256gsm.
C841
The 35ppm C841 brings output quality
to a new dimension. The addition of
1200 x 1200dpi LED technology adds
even more depth to the quality of the
output by delivering crisper text, finer
detail and smoother gradations.
