As the general use of stationery items and the
value of the market continues to decline; we’re
seeing ranges continuously being repositioned
and adapted to include striking or eye catching
designs, as well as value-add functionality.
Here are a few P2P favourites within the notebook sector.
A Pukka year to fly the flag
In a year that celebrates all things
British, renowned stationery supplier
Pukka Pads has designed a limited
edition Union Jack notepad range.
As a home grown, proud to be British

design of the flag and incorporated their

10 iPhone 4S up for grabs
ExaClair Limited is launching an exciting prize draw
campaign to stimulate sales of its Europa books, pads
and filing products. From the beginning of June, end users
will be given the opportunity to secure themselves one
of 10 iPhone 4S handsets
with every purchase made
from the Europa range.
The process for consumers
to enter is straightforward:
they simply send their name
and address details via email
or post, along with the last six
digits from the barcode of one
of their purchased items, to
ExaClair before October 31st
2012. The campaign applies
to Europa notebooks such as the A4 and A5 Notemakers,
Listmakers and Minor, Midi and Major Pads, as well as
Europa filing products including pocket wallets, transfer files,
portfolios, ring binders and more.
Poole-based Pukka Pads
Business Forms has reported a
record growth in business. The
manufacturer and supplier of
business forms has more than
doubled its trade in its first six
months of operation.
In November 2011, the
company took over Inspired
Forms (formerly known as
Rediset) and since then has
welcomed back a number of
customers who sourced their
print requirements from Rediset.
Although the company’s
name changed to Pukka Pads
Business Forms, the original
management structure remained
with the factory and jobs kept in
the town.
Managing Director and
Owner, Chris Stott, said the
factory is on course to triple its
business in the next few months.
Miracle Bind
Brand new is Miracle Bind, a professional looking notebook that’s
available in A4, with a soon to be released A5 version on the
cards. Pitched as having more versatility and flexibility than any
other notebook, having used it, it certainly lives up to its claims.
What makes this one stand out from the crowd is
that individual pages can be removed, re-positioned
and inserted with ease. There’s no tearing and the
pages aren’t damaged in any way, they simply pop
back into the wirebound casing.
Miracle Bind also comes with a number of other
useful features; self adhesive tabs and an index sheet
are included along with cover and spine labels. The book lies flat when
open and the front cover can fold back for ease of writing plus,
there’s a re-positionable pocket to divide the book into sections.
