CEBIT will be held in summer for the first time ever (11 – 15 June 2018) with four elements: the heart of the new CEBIT will be the “d!campus” under the Expo Timber Roof, where technology and emotion, business and festival will meet. Digitalization and culture will be united and create the framework for networking, showcases and interaction with a campus feel running into the evening. The other elements in Hannover’s exhibition halls include “d!conomy”, which concentrates software and IOT-offers for the digitalization of businesses and administration. International companies of the digital economy stage their solutions and technologies with the central theme of business development. “d!tec” provides Hannover City of Innovation ADVERTORIAL a glimpse into the digital future, introducing innovative technologies, new business models and value-adding networks as well as research and start-ups. Economic, political and social discourse is at the heart of the new conference format “d!talk” as a platform for knowhow and visions. CEBIT will address all the central themes of digitalization, show them in their various facets and bring them to life. The opening day on Monday (11 June 2018) is traditionally reserved for media and politicians (exhibition halls not opened yet). This is followed by the trade visitor days (12 – 14 June 2018) before CEBIT opens to the public for all those interested in the digital world with a huge event on its final day (15 June 2018).
