Exertis signs distribution contract with Intel
Exertis has signed a distribution
agreement with Intel covering its
processors, SSDs, Optane memory and
NUC products.
Stuart Hatch, Exertis, Components
General Manager, said: “This new
partnership is a major addition to our
channel-leading components portfolio.
It comes at a great time with the recent
launch of the Intel X299 platform from our
three motherboard brands. In addition, the
exciting new Intel Optane Memory enables
the acceleration of hard drives when
coupled with Kaby Lake processors and
will be particularly well received by systems
integrators building high performance
gaming PCs.”
Symantec teams up with
Exclusive Networks
Symantec has made Exclusive Networks
a UK distribution partner for its entire
portfolio of enterprise security products,
covering endpoint and hybrid cloud
security, information protection, web
and cloud security, messaging security,
cybersecurity services and website
security.
Graham Jones, Managing Director of
Exclusive Networks, said: “Symantec’s
enterprise security offering is a significant
addition to our portfolio and very relevant
right across our partners, from SIs, telcos
and large global players to the traditional
security VARs and even the SMB security
market.”
He added: “We already have significant
knowledge of much of the portfolio and
were familiar with Elastica, Solera and Blue
Coat prior to their Symantec integration.”
Exertis becomes ESET MSP distributor
Exertis has signed a distribution agreement with Intel covering its processors, SSDs,
Optane memory and NUC products.
The ESET MSP partner programme enables resellers to take advantage of volume
pricing for licenses, with the ability to add new seats in real-time with simple monthly
billing using Exertis’ Security-as-a-Service proposition and their JEM Cloud portal.
Jason Hill, Exertis Sales Director, Security, said: “Our Security-as-a-Service proposition
will appeal to a wide range of end user companies that need to deploy new security
solutions in a cost effective and scalable manner and our resellers can manage that
process easily and quickly with total flexibility.”
Midwich is to distribute JOAN, a plug-
and-play collaboration solution for small
meeting rooms optimised for non-
technical users.

Midwich takes on JOAN
Westcoast named official trade partner for CHERRY
CHERRY, a manufacturer of computer input devices, has expanded its sales network
in the UK by partnering with Westcoast. Westcoast Accessories Commercial Director
Ashley Watts said: “This partnership gives Westcoast a much wider range of high quality
peripherals predominantly targeted at our growing public sector reseller base.”
Nuvias adds Panasonic IP
phones to portfolio
Panasonic Business has appointed Nuvias
as the first pan-EMEA distributor for its
range of business IP phone handsets.
Nuvias will act as a high value
distributor for the full range of Panasonic
IP handsets, including desktop phones
and both single cell and multi-cell DECT
solutions for use within cloud-based UC
environments, including BroadSoft.

Midwich partners with Orbitsound
Midwich is partnering with British audio brand Orbitsound
to distribute its range of audio solutions for commercial
verticals including corporate, education and hospitality.
This includes the recently launched ONE P70 compact,
all-in-one sound system for TV, Bluetooth and HiFi.
Mark Flesher, Midwich Consumer AV Business Manager,
said: “We’re delighted to be adding British audio brand
Orbitsound to our line-up. The patented technology from
