expands UK distribution
oneclick partners with
Triangulate
Swiss company oneclick AG has
partnered with Triangulate, a specialist
software distributor, to bring its platform
for the secure deployment of digital
workspaces to a number of central
government organisations, including the
Department for Work & Pensions and
Ministry of Defence.
Dominik Birgelen, CEO of oneclick, said:
“Many public sector and enterprise systems
are reliant on legacy apps and servers,
which can make transformation projects
expensive and difficult to manage. Our
platform allows any server or application to
be connected to our cloud system, allowing
government departments to access new
software while at the same time having
access to the legacy apps they still require.”
Hammer strengthens its SDS offerings
Software-defined storage (SDS) developer OSNEXUS has selected Hammer as its
new distribution partner for EMEA. It has given Hammer exclusive rights to offer
OSNEXUS QuantaStor SDS software as part of a bundled solution along with Dell

“With QuantaStor SDS’s high performance platform and the Dell EMC OSNEXUS
OEM appliance, companies and public sector organisations can procure turn-key SDS
appliances to securely and cost-effectively manage large amounts of data across their
global datacentres or on-premise sites,” said Steve Umbehocker, CEO of OSNEXUS.
Phone box of the future
Kiosks providing free public Wifi with ultrafast speeds of up to 1Gbps and free phone calls
have appeared on Camden High Street in London. The units, called InLinks, will replace
some of BT’s existing payphones in the capital, thanks to a new partnership between BT
and Intersection, a leading UK outdoor advertising company. Other services available from
InLinks include mobile device charging; access to maps, directions and local services; and
a new BT Phone Book app, enabling users to search for businesses and people. InLinks’
digital displays will feature real-time information, such as tube service updates, weather
forecasts and community messaging.
