01732 759725 COVER STORY 20 Sharp presents new growth opportunities for channel partners At the event, which took place from January 15 to 18 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, the company exhibited 15 new print devices, all available for sale by March 2018. New launches included a complete refresh of its A3 mono range, new generation A4 mono MFPs and improved light production print systems. On the visual solutions side, highlights included a new BIG PAD interactive whiteboard, video conferencing solutions for meeting rooms and huddle spaces, Sharp Signage, as well as an interactive table. New line of A4 mono MFPs Inspire 2018 saw the unveiling of a completely new range of A4 mono MFPs, the result of Sharp’s first joint venture with partner Foxconn. The MX-B355W and MX-B455W Advanced Series models boast print speeds of 35 pages per minute (ppm) and 45 ppm, feature a UI that’s consistent across the range and offer the same powerful workflow features and ease of use as Sharp’s A3 devices. In addition to meeting all basic print, Sharp showcased a comprehensive new product line-up to the over 600 dealer representatives from 40 countries who attended its international partner event, Inspire Expo 2018 scan and copy needs, the MFPs can be easily integrated with existing network applications and public cloud services, enabling information to be securely shared and accessed anywhere, anytime. The models also come equipped with Sharp’s multi-layered security suite. A3 mono MFPs Sharp has further strengthened its mono range with the launch of ten new A3 MFPs based on its successful A3 colour MX Series. With print speeds from 30 up to 60 ppm, the refreshed range which is available in both Advanced and Essentials variants now means that whichever A3 device customers choose, whether colour or mono, the user and IT experience is the same. Intuitive, time-saving functions include a customisable touchscreen interface, a motion sensor that detects approaching users (Advanced models only), and an integrated pull printing solution as standard. The mono Essential Series models (MX-M3050, MX-M3550, MX-M4050, MX-M5050 and MX-M6050) meet all everyday office needs with the option to upgrade as required. The Advanced models Sharp has further strengthened its mono range with the launch of ten new A3 MFPs based on its successful A3 colour MX Series.
