Productivity boost The WorkForce Enterprise has everything businesses need to improve productivity, from a maximum paper capacity of 5,350 pages and a dual-head scanner for quick and easy scanning to a user-friendly touchscreen and NFC-enabled printing and scanning from smartphones. It is compatible with Email Print for Enterprise, Epson Print Admin and Document Capture Pro, and is Epson Open Platform-ready, giving users the ability to customise the user interface and integrate solutions for enhanced print management and security. To further improve workflow, complete paper-handling options are available, including a 3,000-sheet tray and a 4,000-sheet finisher unit with stacking, shift and stapling. www.epson.co.uk Social responsibility and sustainability Epson takes its commitment to environmental sustainability seriously and has been awarded a Gold rating for sustainability by independent platform EcoVadis.  Reflecting Epson’s commitment to meet the highest possible international CSR standards, EcoVadis gives Epson an ‘outstanding’ rating in both the Environment and the Sustainable Procurement categories. Epson already adheres to the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000 and recently joined CSR Europe as a corporate member. One of Epson's current goals is to reduce CO2 emissions by 90% across the lifecycle of all products and services by 2050. In 2017, Epson took business inkjets to the next level with the launch of an enterprise-level, ultra-fast colour MFP. The WorkForce Enterprise is a departmental colour office A3 printer available in 100ppm (WF-C20590) and 75ppm (WF-C17590) versions. Its impressive speed is made possible by Epson’s PrecisionCore linehead inkjet technology, fast drying liquid inks and efficient paper transport mechanism. A fixed printhead made up of 36 print chips containing a total of approximately 33,500 nozzles ejects ink onto paper as it moves beneath at high speed. This arrangement enables the device to meet the productivity needs of larger organisations, as well as small and medium-sized businesses that have regular spikes in print volume. Even at high speed, quality isn’t compromised. The MFP prints at resolutions of up to 600 x 2400 dpi and incorporates a self-maintaining printhead that eliminates banding and an electrostatic transport belt to ensure accurate paper feeding.  Inkjet benefits In addition to its productivity benefits, the WorkForce Enterprise consumes significantly less power and generates less waste than laser devices, making it a good choice for eco-conscious organisations.
