Data security
For data security the ineo+ 224/284/364
are certified to the computer security
standard ISO 15408 EAL 3 and come with
various data security features, such as hard
disk encryption and when required data
erasure.
Equipped with security features such
as IPsec, S/MIME e-mail encryption and IP
filtering, the ineo+ 224/284/364 ensure
that every form of communication or
document transfer is undertaken securely.
Device access can be restricted by means
of authentication technology such as PIN
codes, finger vein scanning or contactless
smart cards.

multifunctional copier-printers,
launched three new Develop mid-
range colour multifunctionals in July.
The ineo+ 224, ineo+ 284 and ineo+
364 all offer copy, fax, network print
and network scan functionality via
an easy-to-use, smartphone-like
9-inch touch screen display.
The ineo+ 224/284/364 have print
speeds of 22, 28 and 36 A4 pages per
minute respectively for both colour and
black and white output. Print resolution
is a sharp 1200 dpi using Develop’s
advanced High Density toner. The new
multifunctionals are able to print a wide
variety of paper sizes from A6 to SRA3
and up to 300gsm in weight for maximum
output flexibility. Banners of up to 1.2
metres in length can also be printed, ideal
for signage and point of sale applications.
Finishing options include booklet making
(up to 80 pages), stapling, hole punching
and various kinds of letter folding.
All three systems are available with
a choice of scanner type and perfectly
complement Develop’s award winning
store+find document management
solution which provides the ability
to capture and archive documents
electronically. A Reversing Automatic
Document Feeder can scan 80 images
per minute, while the optional Dualscan
ADF can scan both sides of a document
simultaneously at 160 images per minute.

Eco standards
The ineo+ 224/284/364 have been
designed for energy economy to reduce
operating costs and carbon footprint. The
automatic deletion of blank pages avoids
unnecessary copying and wasted paper.
The various energy saving functions
include the newly developed LED
scanner exposure technology; an ErP
operating mode that only uses 0.5W;
and the dynamic Eco Timer that adapts
the system's active phases to its actual
operating periods. The new ineo+ systems
also conform to Blue Angel and Energy Star
certified international eco standards.
